Biography

Renato Aiello was on the Italian boxing squad at the 1948 London Olympics but did not start. He later had an undistinguished career as a professional, fighting as a light-heavyweight. He never fought for an Italian or European title, and mostly fought near his hometown of Savona. Aiello finished his professional career in 1955 with a record of 6 wins (4 by KO), 8 losses (4 by KO) and a single draw.
