Biography

Although selected for the 1956 Great Britain Olympic squad Terry Robinson never got to play in either match. An England international full-back or wing-half he won 10 caps and made his début against Scotland in January 1956 when he took over the wing-half role vacated by the great Bob Hardisty. Robinson joined Brentford from Loughborough College in 1954 and in three seasons with the Bees played 35 games and scored one goal before moving to Northampton Town in 1957. He had just one season at Northampton, playing 13 League games, before moving to non-League Hendon.
