Biography
A striker, “Jeffi” Merced played for the Curaçao’s top team in the 1950s, SUBT, Willemstad (CUR). A non-playing reserve at the 1952 Olympics, he went on to win the first of his two international caps in the 2-1 win over Aruba at Willemstad in 1956. His only other game was four years later in a 2-0 win over Guatemala in the Central American and Caribbean Games.
