Biography

Renzo Burini was a forward who played with AC Milano in Serie A from 1947-53, winning the Italian title in 1950/51. He appeared in 190 matches with Milano, scoring 87 goals. Burini then played with Lazio Roma from 1953-59, appearing in 140 matches, scoring 35 goals, and helping win the 1958 Coppa Italia. Burini was an alternate at the 1948 Olympics, but did not play. He later earned four international caps with the Italian team. He was later a coach for various teams, including Pro Patria, Forli, Manza, Omegna, and AC Cesena, helping them win the Serie D title in 1961.
