Dino Zucchi was one of best players for Virtus Bologna in the 1950s. He played for them from 1948-53, alongside his older brother Dario, and they won the Italian title in the 1948/49 season. Dino made his international début at Genova in friendly against France in March 1951, and went on to play in the 1952 Helsinki Olympics, where Italy was eliminated in the final match of the qualification round. Zucchi won only five international caps, and scored 16 points.
