Biography
German luger Denis Geppert placed seventh in the men’s singles event at the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics. His greatest moment was in 2002 when he won silver medals in the singles and mixed team events at the European Championships. At the Worlds Geppert finished seventh in 1999, fifth in 2000, sixth in 2001, and tenth in 2003. He retired in 2006 after failing to qualify for the Torino Games.
