Aldo Luciano Dezi was an Italian canoeist. Together with Francesco La Macchia he won a historic silver medal at the 1960 Roma Olympic Games in the Canadian canoe, the only medal ever won by Italy in that specialty (through 2016). They won their medal at Castel Gandolfo lake, where Dezi trained. The Italian pair owed its success to their technical coach, the Hungarian Kálmán Blahó, who put the crew together just 10 months before the Olympics, as the two canoeists had never before paddled in a Canadian canoe.
After leaving the Navy, Dezi registered with Canottieri Mincio of Mantova, a club for which he won two other Italian titles in 1961, before joining the Fiamme Oro sports group, with which he won two more titles, in 1962 and 1963. In 1968, alongside with his brother Bruno, Aldo Dezi won the C2 title for the Tirrenia Todaro club. In 1970 he closed out his career by winning, again with La Macchia, his final national championship
