Biography

Alpine skier Michael Dickson placed 39th in the slalom event at the 2001 World Championships in St. Anton, Austria to earn a place on the Australian Olympic team. The following year Dickson competed in the same event at the Salt Lake City Games, placing 41st in his first run, but failing to finish in the second. After the Olympics he graduated from the University of Sydney with a degree in sports science, becoming a professional coach for the Australian Paralympic Committee. Dickson then became a management consultant in the health and social care sector.
