Biography
Sprinter Günther Würfel was Austrian champion in the 200 metres (1973-75) and 4×100 relay (1973, 1975). He was selected for the 1972 Olympics at München, where he replaced Gert Nöster after the heats in the semi-final. The relay team was then disqualified as Würfel had a jump start in his leg.
Personal Best: 100 – 10.5 (1974).
