Biography

Austrian equestrian rider Caroline Hatlapa was the daughter of Carl Hahn, head of the Volkswagen Group from 1982-93. She participated as a dressage rider at the 1996 Atlanta Summer Olympics in the individual event and finished 31st. She won several national titles. Later she owned Herrenhaus Borghorst near Osdorf in Germany and worked as a riding instructor, riding coach, and hotel owner.
