An unfortunate fourth place in 2012 was their best result. The pair enjoyed their finest sporting moments by winning the silver medal at both the 2007 and 2016 World Championships. Their best result at the Europeans was the bronze medal in 2009. They finished fourth three times, in 2008 and 2010-11. The duo was awarded the Decoration of Honour for Services to the Republic of Austria in 2008.
