German pole vaulter Silke Spiegelburg, whose brothers Henrik, Christian, and Richard were all pole vaulters, was a triple Olympian from Athens 2004 to London 2012. She finished 13th, seventh and fourth, respectively. Spiegelburg won a silver medal at the 2010 European Championships, and two more at European Indoors in 2009 and 2011.
Spiegelburg won the German national title in 2005-07, 2010, 2012, also indoor titles in 2015 and 2016. She studied health economics and later turned to pole vault coaching.
