Nils Winter was a German long jumper participating at the 2004 Athens Olympics and was eliminated in the qualification round. He won the German national title in 2003, and the indoor title in 2005 and 2007. Winter’s greatest moment came in 2009 in winning the silver medal at the European Indoor Championships with a personal best 8,22 metres.
