Biography
Ethiopia sent a delegation of ten athletes to the 1960 Olympics in Roma, with five of them competing in road cycling. Megra Admassou was one of the four Ethiopian cyclists who competed in the individual road race. The race was started in tremendous heat (38º C/100º F), with only 76 of the 142 starters completing the course, with Admassou amongst the many non-finishers on the day.
