Czechoslovak cyclist Karel Červenka dominated at the Praha–Karlovy Vary–Praha one-day race in the early 1920s. In 1922 Červenka finished second before winning the race the following year. The race was not held in 1924, but he then won back-to-back editions in 1925 and 1926. He was also consistent at the Czechoslovakia national road race championships, finishing second in 1923, followed by third in 1924 and 1925. Červenka competed in the road race at the 1924 Paris Olympics, where he finished 40th in the individual event and 11th in the combined team competition.
