Tom Griffin

Tom Griffin was a hooker who was capped 42 times for Australia between 1907-12, six of them Test matches. He also earned 35 caps for New South Wales in that period. He was selected for the Australian side that toured the British Isles and France in 1908-09, where he played in the 1908 London Olympics, winning a gold medal. After returning to Australia, many of the Wallabies moved on to professional rugby league, but Griffin stayed with rugby union. He played against the Maoris in 1910 when they toured Australia, and also toured the USA and Canada in 1911. He later became a selector for the 1927-28 Waratahs.
