Biography

Danish equestrian Charlotte Ingemann was part of the dressage team for the 1972 München Olympics riding the horse Souliman. Individually Ingemann placed 20th, in addition to just missing out on a medal after finishing fourth in the team event. Souliman belonged to Charlotte’s aunt, Enid, who originally trained the horse for racing, before switching to dressage events. After her aunt died she was forced to sell the horse, with a German amateur rider becoming Souliman’s new owner.
