Dickson Wamwiri was a taekwondoka who fought at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. He was a gold medalist at the 2007 African Games and won silver medals at the 2003 and 2011 African Games. Wamwiri developed seizures and, despite surgery to correct the cause, collapsed in his bathroom and died at age 35.
