Omar Boucetta served as the second President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) from 1957 to 1962. Boucetta was also the President of the Maghreb de Fès football club in Fez. In his capacity as a diplomat he was the Minister of Youth and Sports and Social Affairs from April 1969 until March 1970. He was awarded with the Olympic Order in Silver in 1979.
