Diver Lilo was the sister of Günther Mund. She was born in Chile after her parents Margret Borgs and Arthur Mund emigrated there during World War II. The family travelled several times back to West Germany, where Günther was a member of two swimming clubs in Cologne and Dusseldorf. The participation of Lilo in the 1956 Olympic Games at Melbourne was uncertain for years, but in 2012 was confirmed with an unknown result by sport historian Bill Mallon.
