Italian media executive Angelo Codignoni worked in television, media, and advertising for more than 30 years. Codignoni graduated from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, a private research university in Milano, with a degree in economics. His career included working as the President and CEO of Eurosport from 1996 to 2006 and the chair of the board of directors of Mediascope from 2016 to 2021. For his work in helping to promote Olympic sports Codignoni was awarded with the Olympic Order in Silver in 2006.
