Abdul Rahman Aba Al Kahil was a Saudi minister and diplomat who had a lengthy tenure at the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs. After gaining a BA from the Faculty of Arts at Cairo University in 1952, Aba Al Kahil then held various diplomatic positions in both Cairo and Beirut. Back in Saudi Arabia he became the director general of the Ministry of Finance and National Economy, before returning to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In addition to serving in several ministerial roles, Aba Al Kahil also spent two spells as the President of the National Olympic Committee of Saudi Arabia; the first from 1967 to 1968, followed by a second stint from 1973 to 1974.
