Anna Kasprzak competed in dressage for Denmark at the 2012 and 2016 Olympic Games and also competed at the 2014 World Equestrian Games. A top dressage rider since her junior days, at the 2005 European Junior Championships she won a silver medal in team dressage, and bronze medals in individual and freestyle dressage. At the European Young Riders Championships, Kasprzak won four bronze medals from 2008-10, with three in the team event and an individual freestyle bronze in 2010. She later won a team silver medal at the 2017 European Championships. Kasprzak runs Kasprzak Dressage in Haderslev, Denmark, where she trains and trades horses for dressage. In April 2020 she announced the construction of her new breeding facility in Stokkerhovedgard.
Kasprzak’s mother, Hanni Toosbuy Kasprzak, is the owner and CEO of the Danish shoe brand ECCO. The company was founded by Anna Kasprzak’s grandfather, Karl Toosbuy, in 1963. Her share of the company has made her financially quite wealthy, being included on the Forbes magazine list of wealthiest people in 2021, with an estimated net worth of $1.3 billion (US).
