Mikaela Lingh was born in Turku, Finland but established her dressage career in Denmark, training there and then becoming a resident in 2001. In 2004 she and her husband, Poul Fabricius-Bjerre, son of the famous movie music composer Bent Fabricius-Bjerre, built their home in Kokkedal, Denmark.
Lindh first competed at the national level in 2002 in Denmark aboard Trophy, which she also rode at the 2002 World Championships for young dressage horses. She started on the Grand Prix circuit with the Finnish warmblood Konigs Kronos KS, which she rode at the 2005 Nordic Baltic Championships.
Lindh’s best-known horse was Skovlunds Más Guapo, a Danish warmblood that she rode at the 2011 and 2012 World Cup Finals, the 2011 and 2013 European Championships, and the 2012 London Olympics. Her last international show was the 2019 European Championships aboard Skovlunds Gamin G.
