Yoshio Shimura was a Japanese cyclist who was active during the first half of the 1960s. In 1963 Shimura was part of the quartet that won the team time trial title at the Asian Championships. This earned him a place on the Olympic team for his home Games in Tokyo, where he finished 19th in the same event.
