Fabio Acevedo

Cyclist Fabio Acevedo rode in six editions of his home race, the Vuelta a Columbia, with a best result of sixth in 1971. The following year Acevedo was selected to compete in the road race and team time trial at the München Olympics, finishing 22nd in the latter with his compatriots. He then had some success at the Pan American Cycling Championships, winning silver in both the road race and team time trial in 1974, followed by a bronze in the latter two years later.
