Atanas Atanasov was a Bulgarian cyclist who was active during the 1920s. In 1924 Atanasov was selected to compete in the road race at the Paris Olympics but he did not finish the course. Later that same year he had better success back home when he finished fourth overall in the general classification at the Tour of Bulgaria. He was consistent throughout the race, finishing second on stages five through to nine, and fourth on stage 10.
