Biography

German mountain biker Ralph Berner placed 10th at the 1996 Atlanta Summer Olympics. In 1987 and 1993 he was runner-up at the World Championship and won six national titles. He also placed second twice at the Transalp Challenge in 2001 and 2002 and third in 2004 at the Transalp road race. Berner later became team manager at Votec Racing Teams and worked as an event manager for mountain bike competitions.
