Biography

French cyclist Claude Buchon competed on both the road and track, winning several Brittany championship titles on the latter. In 1969 Buchon was part of the quartet that won bronze in the team pursuit at the Track Cycling World Championships in Brno, Czechoslovakia. In the 1970s he won three French team time trial titles (1972, 1975–76), the latter earning him a spot on the French team for the 1976 Montréal Olympics.
