Biography

In 1960 Malta sent a delegation of ten athletes to the Roma Olympics, with John Bugeja being one of three cyclists to represent the nation at the Games. Whilst Bugeja did not finish in the individual road race, he did place 29th with his compatriots in the 100 kilometres team time trial. He later worked as an official for several sporting associations, including the Malta Olympic Committee.
