Biography

In 1920 Danish cyclist Ahrensborg Clausen won the national amateur titles in both the road race and the individual time trial to earn himself a place on the Olympic team. At the 1920 Antwerpen Games the road race was contested as a time trial event, with Clausen finishing 20th individually and fourth in the combined team event. The following year he finished second in the Danish amateur road race and seventh in the amateur road race at the UCI World Championships. In 1924 Clausen returned to the Olympics for the road race in Paris, which was once again contested as a time trial, with him finishing 38th.
