Max Aeberli raced the tandem sprint for Switzerland at the 1948 London Olympics, alongside Jean Roth. Aeberli won Swiss titles in team pursuit in 1948 and 1949. He was a bronze medalist in the sprint at the Swiss Championship in 1945, 1948, and 1949. Aeberli raced for Radfahrer Verein Hongg in Zürich.
