Kalevi Eskelinen

Finnish cyclist Kalevi Eskelinen was a reserve member for the national team at the 1968 Mexico City Olympics but did not travel to the Games. The following year Eskelinen won the road race at the Finnish national championships, before winning two national track titles in 1971, along with victory in the Porvoon ajot one-day race. Eskelinen made the Olympic team in 1972, where he finished 19th in the team time trial with his compatriots at the München Games.
