Oswaldo Frossasco was a four-time national road race champion in Argentina. He won his first national title in 1975, following that up with wins in 1977, 1979, and 1980. After his first national title, Frossasco was selected to compete for Argentina at the 1976 Montreal Olympics. Frossasco won multiple races in his home country and in Uruguay, before he retired from cycling in 1987. At the time of his death, Frossasco was the president of the Cordoba Cycling Federation.
