Biography
Bulgarian cyclist Petar Georgiev competed in the individual road race at the 1952 Helsinki Olympics, finishing 46th. That same year Georgiev rode in the International Peace Race where he also finished in 46th place. He was still participating in races towards the end of the decade, including finishing sixth overall at the 1958 edition of the Tour of Egypt.
