Hungarian cyclist Ferenc Keserű rode for Pécsi Spartacus from 1960 to 1965, winning the national youth championship in 1963. Keserű then represented Vasas from 1966 to 1970, and was part of the national cycling team from 1967 to 1970. He became the national champion in both the road race and the cross-country event in 1967 to earn him a place on the Olympic team. At the 1968 Mexico City Games he finished 41st in the road race, just over nine minutes behind the race winner. The following year Keserű won his second national road race title, along with two titles on the track.
