Biography

Jan Kudra was a Polish road and track cyclist who rode for Społem Łódź. Kudra won his first cycling race in 1957 and won his first national championship title in 1960. During the 1960s he won nine national championships, six on the road and three on the track. Kudra rode in five editions of the Peace Race, and five editions of the Tour de Pologne, winning the latter twice (1962, 1968). He competed in the road race at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics finishing in 13th place.

Kudra was named as the best cyclist of the year in 1962 and 1963, and was named as the fourth-best Polish road cyclist of all-time.
