Wolfram Kühn was an East German road cyclist who did not finish the individual road race at the 1972 München Olympics. The same year he finished third at the Peace Race. In 1976 he could not qualify for the Montréal Games due to injury. He then turned to coaching, and between 1988 and 1990 coached the East German road time trial teams that won the Olympic gold medal in 1988 and two world titles, in 1989-90. Kühn also owned two bicycle shops in his hometown, Erfurt.
