Biography

Algot Lönn was born in the same parish as [Hjalmar Levin] and his father was also a soldier. He joined the cycling club that was founded by Levin in 1902. At the Olympics, however, Lönn was luckier than his clubmate. He placed 10th individually, which earned him the gold medal in the team event together with Ragnar Malm, Axel Wilhelm Persson and Erik Friborg. No other results have been documented for Lönn.

Lönn worked as a metal worker. His wife was Emma Vilhelmina Bäck; they had two sons and one daughter.
