Austrian road cyclist Peter Muckenhuber was twice an Olympian, at Moskva (Moscow) in 1980 and Los Angeles in 1984. He was a crew member of the Austrian 100 km time trial teams and finished 13th and 11th, respectively. In 1978 he won the Lower Austrian tour. In 1980 and 1982 he won the Austrian national road race title.
