Prior to competing at the 1924 Olympics Antonín Perič won the Czechoslovakian road race title in 1923. During a cycling career that lasted thru 1931, mostly representing Athletic Club Sparta in Prague, Perič raced six times in the Prague-Karlovy Vary-Prague race, placing second in 1921 and 1926, and third in 1927 and 1928. His son Milan Perič also became a cyclist, competing at the 1952 Olympics.
