Rubén Placánica was an Argentine cyclist. Placánica competed in two events at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics. Placánica was part of the Argentine team that finished in fourth place in the team time trial. Placánica also rode in the road race where he finished in 49th place. His son Fabio competed as a track cyclist for Argentina at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics.
