Biography
In 1952 Swiss cyclist Kobi Scherer competed in the individual road race at the Helsinki Olympics, but did not finish the course. Scherer then rode in a couple of editions of the Tour de Suisse and the Tour de Romandie. Sadly he had a short life, with him only being in his late 30s when he died in 1970.
