Biography

Kurt Schweiger was an Austrian road cyclist who participated in the 1960 Rome Olympics. He rode with the 100 km time trial team, finishing 13th, but could not finish the individual road race. Schweiger rode the Wien – Rabenstein – Gresten – Wien stage race in 1957, placing second, but won it in 1959 and 1964. He also participated in the Austrian Tour in 1958-61. In 1964 he won his only national title, in the 100 km team time trial.
