Malcolm Simpson was a New Zealand track cyclist who competed during the 1950s. In 1950 Simpson finished sixth in the 1km time trial at the British Empire Games in his hometown of Auckland. Two years later he was selected to compete at the 1952 Olympics in Helsinki. At the Games he placed 11th in the 1,000 metres time trial and reached the quarter-finals of the 2,000 metres tandem sprint with compatriot Colin Dickinson.
