Biography

Constantin Stănescu was a Romanian cyclist who was active during the 1950s. In 1950 Stănescu finished 16th in the general classification of the Tour of Romania, before placing sixth a year later. His performances earned him a place on the Olympic team for the 1952 Helsinki Games where he finished 29th in the individual road race. After the Games he rode in several more editions of the Tour of Romania, finishing 29th in 1954 and 39th in 1956.
