Mario Traxl was an Austrian road cyclist participating in the 1988 Seoul Summer Olympics. He came 16th with the Austrian 100 km time trial team and placed 22nd in the individual road race. In 1987 Traxi won a bronze medal with the time trial team at the World Championships. He won the Austrian national road race title in 1989 and 1994.
By profession, Traxl became a retail salesman at the international office communication systems manufacturer Ricoh.
