Jean-Claude Wuillemin won the 1964 Tour du Roussillon, and placed third that year at the Paris-Ézy race. He had previously placed sixth at the 1962 World Amateur Road Championships. After the 1964 Olympics Wuillemin turned professional and raced for three years in the professional peleton. His major achievement was winning the points classification in the 1967 Paris-Nice race. He was second in 1965 at the Grand Prix de Cannes. Wuillemin rode one major tour, placing eighth in 1965 at the Vuelta a España.
