Apart from playing with his younger brother, Charles, on the winning Roehampton team at the 1908 Olympics, George Miller’s other successes included six Hurlingham Champion Cup victories (1897-99, 1901, 1903 with Rugby; and 1911 with Eaton) and three wins in the Ranelagh Open Cup in 1897, 1901, and 1902. He also captained England in the 1902 Westchester Cup matches. A 7-goal player, his other victories included the All-Ireland Open Cup, Warwickshire Cup, Rugby Open Cup, Social Clubs, Public Schools, and County Cups. He was a member of the Polo Pony Society.
Like his brother, George Miller was educated at Marlborough and Trinity College, Cambridge and also served in Remount Depot in the war. He assisted in the management of the Roehampton Club together with a third brother, Edward. George Miller died while on a cruise in the West Indies.
