Biography

We know very little about D. Frangopoulos, including his full name. He competed in men’s singles at the 1896 Olympics, losing his only match. He was also entered in three swimming events in 1896 but did not start. There is some suspicion that he was a Greek of British nationality, but not proven. Frangopoulos competed for the Panakhaikos Syllogos Patron.
